01 - Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking during freezing and coating.
02 - Peel the bananas and cut them into ½-inch thick slices for uniform bite-sized pieces.
03 - Arrange the banana slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and freeze for at least 30 minutes until firm.
04 - Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Alternatively, use a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water.
05 - Remove banana slices from the freezer. Using a fork or skewer, dip each banana slice into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off.
06 - Place the chocolate-coated banana bites back onto the lined baking sheet. Immediately sprinkle with toppings if desired, then return to the freezer for at least 15 minutes until the chocolate is set.
