01 - Combine strawberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Heat gently for 2-3 minutes until strawberries soften and release their juices. Let cool completely, then blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if a seedless puree is preferred.
02 - In a cocktail shaker or large glass, combine the cooled strawberry puree, cold milk, and heavy cream. Stir vigorously until fully incorporated and smooth.
03 - Distribute ice cubes evenly between two tall glasses. Pour the strawberry cream mixture over the ice, dividing equally between glasses.
04 - Slowly pour the cold brewed espresso or coffee over the back of a spoon to create a distinct layered effect. The coffee will float atop the strawberry cream, creating a beautiful marbled presentation.
