01 - Combine the drained feta and softened cream cheese in a food processor. Blend on high until very smooth and creamy, pausing to scrape down the sides as needed, about 2 minutes.
02 - Transfer the whipped feta to a serving bowl and smooth the top with the back of a spoon to create an even surface for the honey drizzle.
03 - In a small saucepan, combine the honey and red pepper flakes. Warm gently over low heat for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant and slightly thinned. Do not let it come to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool briefly.
04 - Spoon the warm hot honey evenly over the whipped feta. Finish with a sprinkle of minced fresh herbs and freshly cracked black pepper if desired.
05 - Serve immediately alongside crusty bread, pita chips, or fresh vegetable crudités while the honey is still warm.
